#Theweekthatwas @ 14/12/2025

A week of activity, bustling and community, taught me that:

  1. Many of us pray a lot, but we don't often (want to?) listen to the response

  2. Being ready to ask doesn't necessarily mean you're ready to receive

  3. Nobody is ready before they start; readiness comes from doing

  4. Giving up is never an option

  5. Limits are in place to create safety not complacency

  6. Leadership always comes at a cost, the choice lies in how we pay for it

  7. Risks aren't really risks when we understand that what's meant for us will come to us

  8. It's a wonderful feeling when your client realises they "don't want to go back to being small"

  9. Lessons may be presented to us very clearly and we may still choose to ignore them

  10. When families come together, communities thrive; when communities come together, nations thrive

  11. Our differences can either inspire growth and learning or be used to discriminate
