#Theweekthatwas @ 08/02/2026

A week of significant shifts had much to learn from.

  1. If you don't ask, you don't get

  2. The problem is never the problem

  3. Busyness is often the enemy of our productivity

  4. Rituals are important stepping stones to achieving bigger outcomes

  5. Discipline expects you to show up no matter the circumstance or whether you’re feeling it or not

  6. Feelings, in isolation, are not meant to be decision-making criteria

  7. "Privilege" can often be synonymised by "access"

  8. The ultimate form of reflection is action

  9. Capability (or lack thereof) is not always the reason why people don't get access to the decision making tables

  10. Sometimes we don’t appreciate things we haven't worked or paid for

  11. The most wicked amongst us will always try to label "the others" with the ugly labels that they themselves are guilty of

  12. Justice seems to have become that toy that can be a favourite one minute and thrown out the next, depending on who's in the playpen

  13. Leadership isn't about words alone, it's about having the courage to put your words into action

  14. Without integrity, there is no leadership

  15. How we see ourselves is how we present to the world; change that, change the world
