A week of shifting gears taught me:

  1. An abundance mentality is seeing others' blessings knowing that I am next in line

  2. The best form of giving is when we give without any expectation of return

  3. The solution to entitlement is realising that everything above a breath is a bonus, a gift

  4. Using your blessings in the service of others is the highest form of gratitude

  5. Knowledge alone merely takes space in our brains; coupled with action, it becomes something of value

  6. My shortcomings are infinitely outweighed by the mercy of The Almighty

  7. "Leaders carry the tension so the team can carry the work" Jay McLean

  8. When there's incongruence between what's in your heart and what's on your tongue, it'll show

  9. Be weary of the arrogance of those who try to cover their poor records with further destruction

  10. Be optimistic of the ones who openly admit their mistakes and actively make amends

  11. Leadership isn't merely having an opinion; it is the burden of carrying consequence

  12. A"trickling down" economy only works when those on top are more interested in equity than their own comfort

  13. Leadership without conscience is merely force with a title

  14. When we perceive the world through the eyes of love, we see a very different picture to the seemingly dominant narrative
