#Theweekthatwas @ 26/07/2026

A week of celebrations and rough weather had much to teach:

  1. Acting on the good that we know leads us to further goodness

  2. Achievement doesn't necessarily equate to confidence

  3. Our bodies are on loan to us so we should consider how we wish to return the trust

  4. Feeling the cold is not the same as feeling cold

  5. Aiming for victory at all costs is a short-sighted approach

  6. Poking fun at others only points to our own insecurities

  7. Bravery isn't always visible or loud; sometimes it happens in the quiet decisions that shifts us to action

  8. Cheating in sports defeats the purpose

  9. Commitment to a cause can inspire some extraordinary behaviours

  10. When your priorities are clear, decision-making becomes a lot more streamlined

  11. Resentment should never be allowed in your carry-on luggage; always check it in to another destination

  12. Mud on your face isn't always a bad thing

  13. Some of us live for the thrill of the chase while others of us live for the chill of... well, just the chill
