#Theweekthatwas @ 19/10/2025
In a week of many firsts, I had a lot to learn:
Putting yourself out there is scary but what's even scarier is wondering what could have been had you chosen not to
Truth and justice supersedes your theology, belief system or feelings
Saving is the biggest wealth-building illusion ever
Infatuation eventually leads to resentment
If you're a legit trying to be good by others (and yourself) kind of person, then you'll find many in your corner
Hosting an event of significance that sits close to your heart is both a privilege and a responsibility
When you are clear about what you have to offer the world, people show up to receive
Being taught discipline is never fun in the moment but its blessings are appreciated later in life
There's wisdom in a healthy level of obedience at an early age
Patterns only become recognisable when you articulate the pieces or touchpoints which create that pattern
Focusing on a few priority actions every day is more effective than ticking off an entire to-do list of menial tasks
When there's incongruence with who you are truly meant to be and who you purport to be, you end up feeling stuck
When you trust and accept yourself fully, others will trust in you
Having fun is contagious
