A week of preparing, connecting and learning had several lessons:
A shepherd will never let a lost sheep go no matter how many times they go astray... leaders, be like a shepherd
Redemption is a beautiful thing
Belief always precedes concerted action
Most people wait for something bad to happen to them before they change… this isn’t necessary
People will not believe in what you have to offer until you believe in it yourself
Your difference is your strength
Sometimes simply holding space for others is all they need from you
Not talking up about things which bother you is not martyrdom, it's weakness
The people in your life who truly love you will call you up, not out
Fear is a tool the devil uses to hold us back from achieving our God-given purpose
Every challenge, every struggle and every traumatic experience that you get through is another stripe earned, another muscle built, another step towards success
When confidence unknowingly exceeds ability, feedback is necessary and when ability exceeds confidence, reassurance, support and allyship is needed
