A week of rubbing shoulders had several lessons:

  1. Never underestimate or ignore the contributions of the non-dominant voices

  2. Being uniquely you means you can compete on value rather than price

  3. "Never wrestle with pigs. You end up dirty and the pigs enjoy it."

  4. Every bully and every tyrant are driven by fear because they're victims of their own weaknesses and insecurities

  5. There are some who really believe there's no harm in committing wrong against lesser humans because of their superiority over them

  6. Victory or success has many horizons #longgame #ultimatevictory #haameem

  7. Honour, dignity and bravery seem to have been replaced by tanks, b0mbs and remote controls

  8. Neutrality means exactly that: remaining neutral, being objective and painting the full picture regardless of the circumstances

  9. A leader has to be risk-aware; not identifying or talking about risks doesn't make them go away

  10. If you're always the smartest person in the room, you're probably not growing very much and you likely have an ego problem #checkyourself

  11. Be careful of the ones whose values appear to be absolute except when they no longer serve their purpose #doublestandards

  12. Leadership is at once about being flexible and adaptable to one's context, as it is about being consistent and absolute on integrity of purpose and upholding one's values
