#Theweekthatwas @ 22/12/2024

The second last week of the year had much to learn from.

  1. In a season of festivities, we sometimes forget that it's sadly not a very festive time for many across the globe

  2. When one possesses an #abundance mentality, sharing knowledge, skills and connections becomes easy and rewarding

  3. To truly hold ourselves to account, we require a standard to adhere to and that standard needs to be set by a power greater than ourselves

  4. The secular world seems to have swung from questioning things purely intellectually to only considering feelings; neither has, nor ever will, lead to real success

  5. When you're secure in your #truth, then you welcome it being questioned and interrogated

  6. Living a #balanced life doesn't mean settling for mediocrity or accepting the average

  7. Striving for #excellence in everything you do is the only balance you need to maintain

  8. The reality for many is that they don't know where they came from, where they're headed nor who they are #identity

  9. In an age when we believe we know so much, there are still too many of us who know very little about reality #deception

  10. Before we take the fall for our children, we should consider the impact on the development of their responsibility muscle

  11. When placed in a position of power or authority over others, we become #responsible to and for them, not the other way around
