#Theweekthatwas @ 12/10/2025

An educational week of stretching and getting out of my comfort zone, taught me that:

  1. If you think you know it all, that's exactly the time you need to learn the most

  2. If you don't have money, then you don't have "money problems", you have the problem of not having the skills to make money

  3. Happiness is fleeting by nature; contentment, on the other hand, is more enduring

  4. A treat, by definition, is something that is experienced occasionally otherwise it loses its speciality character

  5. I have fully earned (and paid for) the experience I've gained

  6. The greatest gift or complement you can give your coach, is to follow through on what you said you were going to do

  7. When you show up to serve, those in need of your service will appear

  8. You don't need to tell people that you truly believe in something, they can feel it emanating from you

  9. Regardless of its actual worth, when we get something for free, we tend to underestimate its value

  10. A sign of maturity is that you no longer feel your worth depends on what others think of you

  11. When we refuse to forgive others despite their best efforts, we do them and ourselves a disservice

  12. Connection is paid for with time and attention, not money
