#Theweekthatwas @ 15/02/2026

An emotionally-charged week, taught me that:

  1. If we wish to receive mercy, we should first be showing it to others

  2. Grief's pattern can sometimes resemble the flight path of a released, open-ended, inflated balloon

  3. Proximity is an inaccurate measure of closeness

  4. Sometimes we need to allow ourselves the space to pause some priorities while carrying others

  5. "We live in a house of mirrors & think we're looking out the window," Frederick Salomon Perls

  6. I should constantly ask myself: "Am I applying scepticism to everything except my scepticism?"

  7. Givers of help are most in need of being open to receiving help

  8. Sometimes believing in our beliefs is what holds us back from breaking through

  9. Every enlightenment-seeking intervention, process or framework which is approached with sincere openness provides a pathway to The Truth

  10. No problem is a problem until we identify it as a problem for ourselves

  11. Every problem has a solution only sometimes we don't recognise it because it's at a different level to the problem

  12. All parts within me want what's best for me regardless of how they show up

  13. High quality accountability is not done to, it's done for and with

  14. Knowledge turns into lessons when we’ve put it into action
