#Theweekthatwas @ 22/02/2026
A week that turned spiritual taught me that:
Hardship is a sign that God's help is already there, we just need to be open to accepting it
It's important to surround ourselves with people who will remind us about who's in charge of all our affairs
It's really fascinating that death is one of the few certainties in life yet we still do our best to avoid talking about it
While we may not say it out loud, what we give most of our time and focus to is our real devotion, our idol even
When a slogan feels more offensive that watching children being slaugh2ered, our humanity is at stake
Holding on to our humanity is a price worth paying
If we're transactional in our relationships with our loved ones, then it'll be an enlightening (and hard) day when we realise the books don't always balance
It's an enlightening (and lightening) day when we understand that real relationships are based on giving without expectation of return
There's a big difference between being the leader and showing leadership
One of the worst things to say to a grieving person is: "Just be strong"
Often the thing we need most is that which we cannot afford not to have
Our authenticity comes to life when we live with congruency and alignment
It's super empowering when you realise how your past has sculpted you to being exactly the warrior needed to face today
Every bit of feedback received, whether accurate or not, provides an opportunity for learning
Sometimes help is given to a recipient who is not ready to receive
