A week of some unwellness had a few lessons:

Ripples over rocks in Evan’s Bay

  1. The #energy that exudes from a person when they're talking about what they #love is both magical and contagious

  2. The #progress made from shifting our #self-talk from "one day" to "today", is phenomenal

  3. There are way too many people who have been anointed with the term "#leader" but who show not an inkling of #leadership

  4. The upside-down world we live in is more concerned with the self-inflicted plight of a gang of hooligans than the annihilation of an entire population by the very ones those hooligans represent #doublestandards

  5. When we challenge the laws of #nature we have to accept the unintended #consequences

  6. At the individual level, #victimhood leads to a feeling of #powerlessness and, at the group level, it might initially earn sympathy, but will eventually lead that group to becoming a laughingstock

  7. These days, deception and manipulation seem to be classified as talents

  8. Unless we come to terms with the fact that true #justice can only be served by the All-knowing, we will drive ourselves to insanity

  9. If #relevance is your drug of choice, you'll never be free

  10. It's not normal for innocent men, women and children's lives to be taken in the thousands while the rest of the world acts as if nothing's going on #bau
