#Theweekthatwas @ 8/12/2024

A week of planning to start and planning to close had several lessons:

  1. When #freedom is sought, freedom will be attained; no dictatorship lasts forever

  2. When #hope is a dream, #optimism is a mindset, and #striving is a way of life, then #freedom becomes a #reality

  3. #Self-doubt doesn't discriminate on race, gender, ethnicity or faith but it does tend to be more prevalent in non-dominant segments of society

  4. It's interesting that while the prefix #psych- comes from the Greek word psȳchḗ which means breath, #spirit, #soul, #mind; modern day #psychology seems to ignore the realms of the spirit and soul

  5. In a shameless society, we tend to forget that healthy shame or guilt should inspire #action and #change

  6. "It's called a '#feed' because we're just animals on a digital farm"

  7. Every #relationship hurts, the real risk is when there is harm to health, #well-being, spirit or faith

  8. Sometimes there's hurt in relationships because we need to hear the hard messages that only those who care for us are willing to #share

  9. It is better to mix with people and accept some hurt than to remain isolated

  10. If you’re spending money in order to show that you have money, you have a problem you need to address, and more so if you’re putting yourself into #debt to do so
