#Theweekthatwas @ 15/12/2024

A week of firsts taught me that:

  1. Giving things a go provides #opportunity to practice, tweak #methods and build confidence #justdoit

  2. A #leader is one who can openly admit to not being the smartest in the room and yet inspire others to give their all and be their #best

  3. When we argue to be right or to win rather than for truth to be the winner, then we are simply feeding our egos #truthseeker

  4. When people intentionally disrespect the #protocol of another's land or home, that says a lot about their #character

  5. Without #boundaries, children fail to learn how to navigate life fully and, for adults, boundaries provide the path to #freedom

  6. Shifting our thinking from "or" to "and" opens up a whole new world of options

  7. A life based on either principles or values or what feels right or what we believe or what we were intended for, misses the magic of a life based on all of them together #holisticliving #wholeself #authenticity

  8. Human beings are generally more intrigued by what they don't have or what they're restricted from accessing

  9. "Those that are not embedded in their #culture, burn it down to feel the warmth" Mariameno Kapa-Kingi

  10. Deceit, lies, propaganda and dishonesty are great tools for short-term, self-serving gain and the worst for building sustainable responsible #outcomes
