#Theweekthatwas @ 23/03/2025

A week of growth had several lessons:

  1. Seeking goodness in every moment really lightens one's day

  2. The role of the leader is to shield people from anything that diminishes their ability to be or do their best

  3. A pause can sometimes say a lot more than words

  4. Silence in the face of harm, to others or ourselves, is tacit acceptance, which leads to normalisation of poor behaviour

  5. Justice has no race, no skin colour, no creed, no gender; it just is

  6. Physics teaches us that, by applying leverage, we can achieve much more than randomly directed brute force

  7. Knowing which levers to use and where to place them requires understanding one's priorities

  8. You can't achieve peace through fighting; read that again

  9. Sometimes doing good is just not good enough

  10. Relinquishing control to the Ultimate Controller can be immensely empowering

  11. When we're in a slump, the important part is to keep going and not to come to a complete stop

  12. When faced with seemingly large problems, breaking things down into smaller, more manageable chunks eases the cognitive load and facilitates progress

  13. Contentment comes from being patient upon hardship and grateful upon blessings
