#Theweekthatwas @ 18/05/2025

A week of preparation had lots to teach me:

  1. One's context is not merely about the present moment

  2. My trials, my tribulations, my wins, my losses and each of my past's moments have collectively shaped who and where I am today

  3. Achievement can be a very personal matter to judge

  4. Understanding and appreciating relativity can remove much of one's anxieties and frustrations

  5. If your life is mostly easy-going, then you're probably living within yourself and not fulfilling your potential

  6. While effort is a pre-requisite for success, it certainly doesn't guarantee it

  7. The caterpillar without struggle will never experience the joys of flight

  8. Many of us are unwilling to put our perceived image on the line even for a just cause

  9. When you know where your bread is truly buttered, fear of speaking up dissipates

  10. Words may be cheap in some contexts but the damage they can cause in others, is sometimes immeasurable

  11. Discipline is the ability to consistently stick to something to attain a goal, whether we feel like it or not

  12. The existence of inequity is a challenging concept to accept for those who have long benefited from it

  13. Intuition is something artificial intelligence lacks… for now
