#Theweekthatwas @ 29/06/2025

A week of listening and learning taught me that:

  1. Second chances don’t come around every day, so when they do, it's important to take full advantage of them

  2. There are people in your life who will bring you as much joy as the patience putting up with them will evoke

  3. Maintaining balance and composure are two highly underrated leadership traits

  4. If a coach is doing most of the talking, they're not coaching

  5. When you've lived your entire life on a gold mine, you tend to take gold for granted

  6. When all you've had are stones, gold becomes a lot more valuable

  7. When you discover the reward for sharing that gold, all you want to do is share and share and share

  8. Keeping treats for after the work is done is an invaluable life skill

  9. Hearing yourself talk about your childhood is quite intriguing

  10. Freedom is such a relative phenomenon

  11. One of man's greatest tests is the ability to remain non-judgemental

  12. Human beings are designed to resist oppression until it ends, or they do but, regardless, eventually every oppressor falls
