A week of bugs, bugs and more bugs, taught me:

  1. The true measure of a person isn't reflected in how popular they are, it's reflected in what they stand for

  2. Sometimes a win can still be a loss

  3. Something seemingly insignificant like a blocked nose can make a massive impact on your life

  4. The human body is itself a miracle of the Creator

  5. There is not a single good reason to condone the mass killing of children; not one

  6. Rights and responsibilities are the opposite sides of the same coin - you cannot expect to have one without the other

  7. Not all relationships are made equal - some are for good weather only while others endure the harshest conditions

  8. Love is easy to show in times of joy but in times of sorrow, turmoil and strife, that's where it gets tested

  9. We've become such a self-absorbed species that we can go days, months or even years without shedding a single tear for the suffering of others

  10. Sharing one's story with the intention of paving a way for those to come, is noble

Being thankful, more than saying "Thank you"
