#Theweekthatwas @ 21/12/2025

A week of no ramping down had several lessons:

  1. Holding ourselves to account with courage and kindness delivers accelerated growth

  2. Being supportive of others’ success does not detract from or prevent our own success

  3. When we seek feedback, the goal should be improvement, not validation

  4. Seeing good in others leads to goodness from others

  5. If we're not anchored to a vision for our future, we will be blown around like a leaf in the wind

  6. Most people are looking for tactics when what they need is transformation

  7. In a busy world with lots happening, often the most powerful yet counterintuitive thing to do is to pause and reflect

  8. We do ourselves and others a disservice by saying no on their behalf

  9. Feeling nervous in front of people stems from focusing on ourselves instead of what benefits others

  10. We can have growth or comfort, but we can't have both at the same time

  11. "Never underestimate the value of hearing someone without needing to say a word"

  12. For many of us, perfectionism is standing between us and our best selves
