Another bumper week, had several lessons:

  1. Time is the ultimate equaliser

  2. When we engage The Almighty in our prayer spaces and not in our businesses, our careers and our homes, we're missing the point

  3. Goodbyes, see-you-laters, till-next-times are some of the saddest moments in our lives but they can also hold a lot of hope

  4. Being vulnerable does not equate to over-sharing with the internet

  5. Modern living with its ease and comfort, makes us - and our children - more prone to complacency and less likely to pursue growth

  6. When we allow ourselves to be governed by the scroll, the notifications and the likes, enslavement is inevitable

  7. If productivity is considered a measure of enslavement, we should be very intentional about who or what we submit our time and energy to

  8. When we equate religion with faith, we risk comparison between the limits of the creation with the limitlessness of The Creator

  9. The smarter we become technologically, the dumber we seem to get in terms of humanity

  10. When we open our minds and our hearts to abundance, only then do we attract its fruits

  11. Although the term “impostor” refers to deliberate and actual deceit, many of us apply it to ourselves despite having no evidence of either

  12. Experience is at least as valuable as knowledge or qualifications - and often more so

  13. One of the leaders' most important responsibilities is growing the next generation of leaders

  14. Connecting with nature is one of the simplest ways to ground ourselves and find peace and contentment
