#Theweekthatwas @ 15/03/2026

A week of celebrations and commemorations, taught me that:

  1. In life, speed is important but direction is even more important

  2. The greatest gift you can receive is the awareness that you're broken in some way

  3. If you think you're not broken, you're the most broken

  4. When we are most in need is when we should be most giving

  5. We're designed to be rivers, not dams

  6. Allyship isn't a one day-a-year activity

  7. You can't compel others to your will except through your example

  8. Sometimes we focus too much on what should be or could be instead of what is

  9. What we experience in life is determined by the meaning we attach to that experience

  10. Being grateful when things are "nice" is easy, but tougher times requires a different level of character

  11. The most freeing moment in life is when we realise Who is really in charge of every outcome

  12. Hatred is a powerful influencing tool; fortunately love is stronger

  13. Sometimes tragedies become the catalyst for the greatest changes
