#Theweekthatwas @ 05/04/2026

The last week of the year's first quarter taught me that:

  1. True belief is when the hands and feet are moving while the heart is content

  2. Service can be set as a standard or, better yet, it can be an identity

  3. True service happens in spite of recognition, acknowledgment or visibility

  4. Our lives are a tapestry of experiences stitched together on a multidimensional canvas

  5. Capturing a community's stories brings multiple canvasses together in simply stunning artistry

  6. If we're still the same person we were yesterday, then we've regressed

  7. If we accept everything as truth, then we concede that there is no truth

  8. Clarity doesn't equate to harshness: we can be firm on the truth yet soft in delivery

  9. Sometimes we’re more interested in winning arguments than winning hearts

  10. Conjecture without preparation is merely time wasting

  11. If we're addicted to pain, we'll continually find ways to self-sabotage our success

  12. Your business needs you to run it in spite of your emotions

  13. Synergy is such an underutilised superpower

  14. If synergy had a Kryptonite, it would be ego
