The last week before the last month of the year had several lessons:

  1. People are incredibly busy and are prone to genuinely forgetting so they actually appreciate the odd follow-up

  2. Spending quality time with older people, being fully present and listening to their stories, is incredibly powerful and grounding

  3. Trauma bonding is a thing!

  4. Being unapologetically you does not equate to self-worship

  5. Any calamity that befalls us, was meant; any blessing which comes our way, was also meant - the lesson lies in our acceptance

  6. My authenticity is more impactful than my perfection

  7. Personal experience carries more credibility than any theoretical construct

  8. I can lead with my own voice without carrying everyone else’s expectations

  9. Sometimes, our mere presence and perspective are valuable even before we produce anything

  10. The vision we have for our lives should inform how, where and with whom we spend our time

  11. There are some things in life that require us to first do, then feel

  12. When you're super focused on growth, fear of embarrassment dissipates
