A festive week had several lessons:

  1. Gratitude cannot be taught, it has to be learnt

  2. True faith means we're willing to sacrifice what's standing between us and our Creator

  3. Ignorance can be conveyed with amazing confidence

  4. When we get too much without making an effort, we could develop an expectation mindset

  5. Confidence doesn't come from gaining more knowledge, it comes from implementing the knowledge you already have

  6. Experiencing joy is wonderful; bringing joy to others is extraordinary

  7. Humans were created forgetful so reminders should be appreciated not scorned

  8. There's something about (literally) knocking one's head that makes one extra reflective

  9. Loneliness has nothing to do with the number of people around you

  10. Continued self-isolation and turning away offers of help are signs of unwellness or pride

  11. When you demonstrate excellence in your craft, you attain credibility; when you couple that with excellent character, you attain aura

  12. Those seeking momentum are far more invested and open to help than those with mere problems

  13. The people you surround yourself with has the greatest impact on your trajectory than any other variable in your life
