#Theweekthatwas @ 2/08/2026

A week of grafting and setting boundaries had several lessons:

  1. Motion can shape your emotion as much as emotion can influence your motion

  2. Standing for justice is incumbent on each of us - at least to the extent of our individual capacity and capability

  3. Stay close to the ones who encourage you to do the right thing instead of what's easiest or safest

  4. Many of us complain that we lack time while spending hours streaming or scrolling away

  5. Expectation sits at the heart of disappointment

  6. Thinking big and acting small consistently leads to great rewards

  7. Being tolerated is not the same as being accepted, and neither are the same as being valued

  8. Some of our standards are set by self-imposed rules which may have been useful 30 years ago

  9. Implementing AI to poor processes simply results in faster ineffectiveness

  10. Growth is becoming a giver instead of a taker

  11. Service should never be for the recognition but it's appreciated when it is recognised
