An all sorts week had several lessons:
It takes a true warrior to step away from a fight
Ageing is a most humbling phenomenon
It’s interesting that we refer to life “coming full circle” on our journey from infancy to elderliness when, in fact, it’s more akin to a simple curve depicting our basic human abilities rising and then simply falling over time until there is no more time
Dishonesty with ourselves is the worst form of treachery
Our natural environment is at once strong as it is brittle to human intervention and harm
Despite death's inevitability, many of our life's choices demonstrate our irrational relationship with and understanding of it
There's a level of evil in some human beings' actions which can only be described as satanic and yet there are some who condone and support them in their destruction
Just like every individual's life is contextual, so is each community's
If we are truly grateful, we would demonstrate our gratitude in times of abundance as well as in times of need
Instilling gratitude is less about how much we are given and more about being appreciative of what we already have
Great leadership requires great followship
Being obedient doesn't mean being a pushover; rather, obedience teaches humility and servitude
Family is, well, family and home is always home
