To be successful, choosing the right company should be about inspiration, not comparison
Somewhere between resignation and anger
Three small moments this week revealed a truth I couldn’t ignore: comfort doesn’t just support us, it can also blind us. From a delayed flight to a coaching conversation, the pattern was unmistakable. This blog explores what privilege hides from us and how the “Hover” step of my Becoming Unapologetically You framework helps us wake up to what we’ve normalised.

The people with the most insight of your business have the same email domain as you
Uncomfortable is where the growth happens
A simple line from a client conversation that’s been echoing all week: in my business, my learning and, well, life. This post explores why sitting with discomfort, instead of escaping it, might just be the fastest path to growth.

Sometimes we have rules that we've created for ourselves which no longer serve us
The Case of the Pyjama day
When embarrassment leads the way, courage takes a backseat.
A simple moment with my son - and his pyjama day - reminded me how fear of judgement quietly shapes our choices. In this week’s reflection, I explore how holding discomfort and harnessing it for courage can help us show up more fully, even in our metaphorical pyjamas.

Achieving attention may benefit the ego but provides very little value unless converted into something of benefit
Legacy. What's yours?
Legacy isn’t something you build once you’ve “made it.” It’s something you cultivate while you’re making it.
This week’s reflection explores what “getting ahead” really means, and how our truest legacy is built not in leaps, but in the quiet, consistent steps we take toward what matters most.

Even if you're not the most skilled, you can always be the most committed
Hover: Pause, scan, realign
We live in a world that glorifies speed - but sometimes, the real growth happens in the pause. Hover is the first step in my Becoming Unapologetically You framework and it’s about doing the one thing we’re least taught to do: slow down, scan your life and reconnect with who you really are. Because awareness isn’t hesitation, it’s the start of re-alignment.

Putting yourself out there is scary but what's even scarier is wondering what could have been had you chosen not to
Slow down; no, speed up
There’s a “Slow” sign painted on the shared pathway I often take into the city. Some days, it feels like a warning; other days, like permission. It got me thinking about how we interpret life’s signs: when to pause, when to push and how the real art lies in knowing the difference. Because slowing down isn’t falling behind and speeding up isn’t always progress.

When you show up to serve, those in need of your service will appear
Being you: the most important job you have
We spend our lives learning to fit into systems and meet expectations, but somewhere along the way, we forget the one job only we can do: being ourselves.
This reflection explores the inner voice that holds us back, the systems that resist change and how genuine coaching and courage help us reclaim our purpose.

There's an eerie blend of calm and excitement when you decide and commit to go all in without a safety net to fall back on
Wholeness takes courage
Life has a way of pulling us into compartments: work here, family there, faith somewhere else. But what if wholeness isn’t about balance at all, but about integration? After a weekend hui and some personal turning points, I’m reflecting on what it really takes to live whole: courage, honesty and the willingness to face our own “frenemy” within.

The extent of our growth is limited only by our intention and our commitment to stay the course
Reality checks, heart checks and a hint of humour
Last week handed me a mix of reality checks: some subtle, some stinging and one or two that made me laugh out loud. They weren’t just about what was happening around me, but about what was happening inside me: listening to understand instead of defending, taking the front seat in my own life, building in the people who matter and remembering that liberty and justice are essential ingredients of lasting peace. Reality checks, after all, are really heart checks… with a hint of humour to keep us grounded.

If you sit in the backseat of your life, you significantly diminish your chances of getting to your intended destination
The Power of Holding Space
Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is… nothing extraordinary at all. Just hold the space. This week reminded me how environments shape courage, why some pain is amplified while other pain is ignored and how small acts: a pause, a gentle word, a listening ear, can shift the atmosphere. Because dignity, difference and humanity still belong.
